FAQ
- Question: What are your lure heads made of?
- Answer: Most of our lures are made of (TPU). Thermoplastic polyurethane is a self self-healing, versatile material that combines the flexibility of rubber with the strength and durability of plastic, acting as a hybrid between the two. It's known for its exceptional abrasion and tear resistance, flexibility, elasticity, and good resistance to oils, greases, and some chemicals. It contains no plasticizers or halogenated products, making it a more environmentally friendly choice than standard plastics. This stuff is also used in NASA space suits.
- Question: Are your lure heads 3D printed?
- Answer: Yes! We've found that 3D printing allows us to create shapes and use materials that have never been used before in lure manufacturing. The technology also allows us to rapidly prototype just about any design we can dream up.
- Question: Are your lures light, like some other 3D printed lures?
- Answer: The short answer is no. The long answer is, we test each of our lures for use and add weight when necisarry. Some head shapes naturally do not need more weight, but others suffer without it. So we do add weight to many of our designs.
- Question: Do you mind if we make our own lures from your heads and resell them under our company name?
- Answer: Absolutely, no problem! In fact, we encourage you to sell your lures made with our heads. A plug for us is appreciated but not required.
- Question: Do you offer wholesale pricing for your lure heads and lures?
- Answer: Yes! Just contact us via the website chat or email us, and we can send you our book or discuss it over a phone call.
- Question: Can you do custom orders?
- Answer: Yes, we can usually match just about any color and style out there. We can also tie just about any hair combination for seawitch-style lures.
- Question: I caught a bunch of fish on a lure of yours, but I can't find it on your website. Can I buy more?
- Answer: Definitely, just contact us on the site chat or give us a call, and we can usually reproduce any of the lures we've made in the past.
